We are thrilled to be a part of Starwood's Room With A View hotel webcams project which recently launched its second phase complete with a new user interface, enhanced social capabilities and an extensive list of new functionality.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with the concept, over 100 Starwood hotels spanning five continents have installed webcams from their most picturesque views, making the live feeds available on roomwithaview.com and individual hotel webcam Room With A View portal sites.

The new version of Room With A View has moved away from a Flash-based map of worldwide hotel webcams to a gorgeous satellite view Google map that slides away for the user to easily view the rest of the page. The site features live hotel webcam views from around the world, YouTube and Facebook integration, photo tagging, a "latest news and hotel deals" box, and a booking widget where guests can search for rooms directly from the site.

In addition to developing the website, we also sourced, packaged and shipped the hardware used in each hotel webcams site.

Each property is able to administer their hotel webcam site directly from our content management system Live CMS. Clients are able to photo tag their hotel webcam's view, select favourite views for a gallery, crop their camera's live view and more.
